Set in a small farming community in mid Wales, a place where Koppel's parents - both refugees - found a home. This is a landscape and population that is changing rapidly as small scale agriculture is disappearing and the generation who inhabited a pre-mechanised world is dying out. This sexy, teen-comedy is about a freshman, Matthew (played by Jonathan Tucker), at college who meets his dream girl in a dorm elevator during a blackout. He never sees her face, but instantly falls in love. In the morning, the power is restored, but the "dream girl" has vanished. All Matthew knows is that she lives in an all-girls dorm. He sets out on a semester-long journey to find his mystery girl amongst a hundred female suspects. Could it be Wendy (Larisa Oleynik)? Dora? Arlene? Patty (Emmanuelle Chriqui)? Cynthia? Or the 95 other girls, any of whom could have been in that elevator with Matthew.

Vikram K Kumar, the writer director of 13B has had an illustrious career, which began as an assistant to Priyadarashan. His latest film, 13B, has been made in Hindi and Tamil, with R Madhavan and Neetu Chandra playing the lead in both versions. The film, which belongs to the horror genre might just about arouse curiousity and generate a tad bit of suspense, but if it's horror that the makers are doling out, then they have definitely got the wrong address. There is nothing in the film which could get one scared, startled maybe. 13B has an interesting premise and towards the climax it does manage to pick up pace. But the overall impact is hardly exciting.

Film Tiger Productions "Night Train" is not a pleasant viewing unless if you like the horror of the abnormal proportions type movies. What else can be said of a movie where you can see a human being being chopped off into different pieces and put into a box.
