Jean-Michel Andre Jarre (born Jean-Michel Andre Jarre; August 24, 1948, Lyon) - French composer, one of the pioneers of electronic music, playing mostly on synthesizers, author and director of grandiose light show. World popularity gained by the album Oxygene (1976), which became a classic of electronic music. Starting in 1979, conducted dozens of musical and light show in various locations around the globe.
