The program’s unique design makes these dance progressions totally non-intimidating. Each combo starts with a basic pattern — either a march, a step-touch or a step-tap. But that’s just the beginning. Smoothly and gracefully, Petra transitions that pattern into a fast-paced medley of creative variations (e.g. a march becomes a Mambo, a step-tap becomes a chassй). The movements are wide-ranging with constantly moving arms (from simple overhead motions to 70s-style “disco arms”). Lots of pivots and turns (difficult on carpeted floors)
